COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Serving the public, whether around Long Beach or around the globe, is part of the mission at Cal State Long Beach. Students, faculty and staff spend hours volunteering, serving internships and other activities, many of which are coordinated through the Center for Community Engagement or other campus programs. Here are a few ways the campus reaches out.
CHILDREN’S SUMMER CAMPS
Young scientists, writers, artists and athletes can find a variety of summer day camps at CSULB. In addition, Camp Nugget provides activities for children ages 5-12 with special needs or disabilities.
CENTER FOR LATINO COMMUNITY HEALTH
