When the Student Success Center opened in 2019, it gave CAL state long beach students access to a host of services and assistance groups.
Multi-use building is anchored by the Bob Murphy access center, formerly known as Disabled Student Services, and houses a myriad of programs. The building is a U.S. Green Building Council Leed Gold Structure for its sustainable design elements.

Women’s & Gender Equity Center is a safe, comfortable and inclusive environment that offers services, support and resources for students. The center provides a Sexual Assault Victim’s Advocate located at the Student Health Center.

UNIVERSITY REACH OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM (UROP)
UROP is a one-year program that offers first- and second-year students the chance to participate in the research and creative process with faculty.
BUILD
BUILD offers intensive, hands-on research and training opportunities for undergraduate students designed to prepare them for doctoral programs, as well as health-related research careers.
CAMP/TRIO MIGRANT PROGRAM
CAMP is a federally funded program designed for students from migrant families and offers first-year personal, academic and financial support.
PREREQUISITE ADVISING & SUPPORT SERVICES (PASS)
Prerequisite Advising & Support Services aids freshmen who are required to complete GE Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning with a Co-requisite Support Course, as well as Written Communication.
UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADVISING
UCUA provides guidance in exploration of academic plans, recommendations for personal growth and academic development, and explanation and interpretation of academic requirements and policies.
