One of the best things about attending Portland State is the easy access to nature. 90 miles to the coast and 90 miles to Mt. Hood, there’s plenty to explore and the Portland State Outdoor Program makes it easy. They offer guided trips and affordable gear rental. You don’t have to leave the city to get on the trails—Forest Park’s Wildwood Trail is the longest urban trail in the country and walking distance from PSU’s campus.
