Career Exploration and Success

Career Exploration and Success

Students who utilize Career Exploration and Success (CES) early in their collegiate careers report higher levels of success after graduation. We are committed to assisting you with making connections between your academic experience and career path by providing:

  • Career-related advising, resume drop-in hours, and resume clinics
  • Career and internship fairs, employer networking and information sessions, and on-campus interviewing opportunities
  • Career events, workshops, and programs
  • Rutgers Internship and Co-op Program (RICP), First-year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS), and Road to Industry Programs (RTIPs)

Whether you are in your first year or approaching graduation, you can take advantage of CES to help you develop your career action plan. Of the many online resources available, Rutgers Handshake (careers.rutgers.edu/handshake) is a career management system used to request advising appointments, register for workshops, apply for jobs and internships both on and off campus, schedule interviews with employers, and much more.
