ACCESSIBLE EDUCATION CENTER

The Accessible Education Center works to ensure equal access for all qualifying individuals to Tennessee Tech’s academic and physical environments through a variety of resources, including academic adjustments, assistive technology and software, as well as other support programs.

HEALTH SERVICES

Tech’s Health Services offers acute, urgent care, preventive care, immunizations and allergy shots. The professional staff includes a physician, family nurse practitioners, nurses and a pharmacist.

WOMEN’S CENTER

Tennessee Tech Women’s Center serves women of diverse backgrounds and is committed to being a multicultural program that provides support, resources and services to facilitate education related to the issues of feminism, women and gender.

COUNSELING CENTER

The Tennessee Tech Counseling Center offers brief, short term, solution-focused, therapeutic interventions for students to assist them with personal and social concerns. A variety of groups and workshops are offered throughout the school year. Services for students are free and confidential.

CENTER FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT

The Center for Career Development at Tech is the university’s centralized career planning and student recruitment center. From freshman year to graduation, the center provides resources in career planning, resume writing and job search strategies that enable students to make a successful transition from college to career.

ADVISING

Tennessee Tech’s Student Success Centers within each college/school provides students with a one-stop-shop for academic advising, help with accessing academic and non-academic campus resources and fostering student development through engagement opportunities inside and outside of their major. Each center is staffed with professional advisors who are ambassadors and advocate for students’ overall success.

ROTC

TECH’s (the Long Purple Line) Army ROTC program proudly develops leaders of tomorrow! The program offers several entry options, beginning in the freshmen year taking military science classes, with no military commitment through your sophomore year.

THE OFFICE OF MILITARY & VETERAN AFFAIRS

The Office of Military & Veteran Affairs is passionate about helping veterans and their families. They work directly with students and the VA to ensure that each veteran and military family member maximizes their education benefit and that the university receives payment in a timely manner. The office also hosts the campus’ Student Veteran Organization.
