ROADEN UNIVERSITY CENTER
The Roaden University Center multi-level expansion features a pedestrian bridge to indoor and outdoor spaces for students to gather, lounge, dine and study. The upper patio overlooks a beautiful green space and seating area.
LABORATORY SCIENCES BUILDING
Occupying 150,000-squarefeet of space, the new science building will be the largest academic building on campus and will house the chemistry department, a portion of the biology department and labs for earth sciences, physics and environmental sciences.
ENGINEERING BUILDING
Tech’s new $54 million, 100,000-square-foot engineering building is an investment in the state’s only technological university. This new, modern facility will allow Tech to continue to provide a top engineering education and serve the students of the College of Engineering. Along with classrooms and labs, the new facility will provide crossdisciplinary space that allows students from across campus to collaborate on solving realworld problems. It will create an engaging place to learn and conduct research for the engineers of the future.
RECREATION AND FITNESS CENTER
The new Student Recreation Center will be an inviting environment designed to meet the needs of all users. Fitness and weight spaces will provide state-of-the-art equipment, including a climbing wall, in a dynamic two-level space, as well as racquetball courts. Gym courts will feature spectator viewing areas and spaces for drop-in play, scheduled leagues and intramural events. Additional areas include a multipurpose activity court for indoor sports, an indoor leisure pool, lap lanes and a whirlpool.
