Communication Connection Center
The Community Connection Center serves as the facilitative outreach office for campus and community partnerships through the development of programs. These programs increase student engagement, learning and retention, enhance faculty collaboration and student research, and improve community outcomes.
Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is a university-based economic development program that assists entrepreneurs, both new and seasoned, with every aspect of business creation, management, and operation. Participants receive one-to-one confidential consulting and cutting-edge market research at no charge or expand their expertise by participating in affordable training.
Children International partners with UA Little Rock to serve approximately 2,300 children and youth in central Arkansas to help needy kids break the cycle of poverty once and for all. In 2019, the program was recognized by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as an inspiring and noteworthy “Force of Change.”
Institute for Economic Advancement
The Institute for Economic Advancement offers specialized services that support the economic improvement in Arkansas and are available to businesses, governmental units, labor organizations, communities, and private individuals throughout the state.
Windgate Center of Art + Design Gallery
The Windgate Center of Art + Design Gallery highlights contemporary and historical art and traditional and non-traditional crafts. It provides education, inspiration, and experimentation through exhibit series and gallery talks, designed to cultivate a diverse audience and dialogue among students, faculty, and the community.
UA Little Rock Public Radio
UA Little Rock Public Radio strives to deepen insight into the human experience, empower decision-making, and enrich the lives of those served in the community through quality news and cultural programs. The KUAR/KLRE radio stations are located on the UA Little Rock campus.
University Television acts as a window for the community to learn about and enjoy the activities that take place on the UA Little Rock campus. Students in the School of Mass Communication gain experience in television production and management by creating interesting and informative programming. It showcases the faculty, students, researchers, and artists of UA Little Rock.
