McHenry Library
McHenry Library is located in the center of campus and was designed to blend into the forest surroundings. The library offers group and private study rooms, including the forest reading porches, a yoga and meditation space, sound-proof podcasting rooms, access to wifi, computers and scholarly resources. Students have access to over 1.5 million books on campus, and all books throughout the UC system via the Interlibrary Loan System.
McHenry Library also houses collections in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences such as our Grateful Dead and Out in the Redwoods archives. The Global Village Cafe on the first floor serves delicious breakfast and lunch menu items alongside coffee and smoothies.
If you walk through the library and follow the forest path, you will arrive at the Academic Resource Center (ARC) and can also see where our Arts & Music Departments are housed.
