Panther Athletics dominate in 15 different NCAA Division I sports, proving to be one of the strongest teams in the Horizon League. Our Panther athletes bring their powerhouse mentality to the court, the field, the community and the classroom. Not only have we won the McCafferty Trophy seven times, our athletes have posted an average GPA of 3.0 for 37 semesters straight. Our overall success is a tangible sign of Milwaukee’s all-around athletics excellence.
Basketball fans can catch a men’s game at the UWM Panther Arena in downtown Milwaukee, while the Klotsche Center on campus is home to the Panthers women’s basketball team, women’s volleyball, swimming & diving and indoor track & field programs. The baseball team plays its home games off campus at Henry Aaron Field, and the men’s and women’s soccer programs play in the center of campus at the Laura Moynihan Field at Engelmann Stadium.
