Founded in 1894, UW-Stevens Point is located east of the city’s downtown. Old Main, the university’s original building, stands as the most recognizable landmark on campus. Its iconic cupola shines purple and gold on special event days and for commencement and convocation. The university’s academic buildings offer hands-on learning opportunities while the Noel Fine Arts Center offers community performances in Jenkins Theatre and Michelsen Concert Hall. Rounding out the campus are several student-centered facilities such as the Dreyfus University Center, Albertson Hall library and a 280-acre natural area.

UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield campus is located in the heart of Marshfield, a community ranked as one of the best places to live and work, and home to one of the state’s largest health care providers, Marshfield Clinic. Campus amenities include the 340-seat Helen Laird Theatre, which hosts campus and community performances, and a 99-acre arboretum providing students and community members a great way to explore rare vegetation that once covered central Wisconsin.

The UW-Stevens Point at Wausau campus is located next to beautiful Marathon Park, walking distance from the city’s vibrant downtown and not far from Granite Peak, a popular outdoor recreation area. Known for its strong science, math, music and theatre offerings, this urban campus has been serving the higher education needs of central Wisconsin since 1933. The theatre, music and fine arts facilities include the James F. Veninga Theater and Ahrnsbrak Gallery.
