The arts and entertainment scene at Michigan is filled with so many ways to enjoy artistic, cultural offerings right on campus.

Arts & Culture are central to the Michigan experience. Opportunities to experience the arts include public galleries, musical performances, street fairs, and more.

University Musical Society presents 70+ events each year. Performances range from music to dance to theatre. And, there are more than 100 free educational activities. Tickets are available at the Michigan League Ticket Office (MUTO).

Arts at Michigan works to engage students as creators, leaders, and participants in the visual, performing, and literary arts communities at Michigan.

U-M Museum of Art (UMMA) puts art and ideas at the center of campus and public life, sharing artistic experiences that enrich our understanding of one another, foster joy, and build a more just future.

School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD) presents hundreds of performances each year (including many free offerings) that highlight the extraordinary talent of students and faculty in the disciplines of music, dance, musical theatre, and theatre.

Public Lectures and Readings benefit students and the Ann Arbor community alike. Popular events include the Penny Stamps Speaker Series featuring respected innovators, and the Zell Visiting Writer Series showcasing writers and poets.
